2. Service Description

Crime Insights provides crime data analysis reports for postcodes and districts across England and Wales, as well as postcode comparison reports between two locations. Reports are generated using official Police UK data combined with AI-powered analysis. The Service is available through subscriptions, credit packs, and approved promotional access.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Credits and Payment

Credits are required to generate paid reports, including postcode, district, and postcode comparison reports.
Credits may be provided through a subscription, purchased via Stripe, or granted through approved promotions.
Used credits are non-refundable unless we determine that a system error prevented the report from being delivered correctly.
Unused credits do not expire.
Credit packs are available at published prices, which may change with notice.
All prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Share your account credentials with third parties.
Use automated tools to access the Service without prior written consent.
Redistribute or resell reports without permission.

6. Data and Reports

Crime data is sourced from the Police UK API and is provided "as is".
AI-generated summaries are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
Reports, maps, and postcode comparisons reflect historical data and may not represent current conditions.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and generated reports, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use reports for personal or internal business purposes but may not redistribute them commercially without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the billing page.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
